I simply cannot figure out why this hasn't been written about before, at length, and why the FDA is still operating?  I've asked many times in many places in the techosphere, why on earth american gubmint would put food and drugs under the "watchful eye" (heh) of the same agency?  It's absurd beyond belief.  Those scumbags at the FDA are not going to tell you to use food to get and stay well.  Hell no.  They're supported by the phrMA industry and thus do their bidding like a highly paid whore.
