I'm not telling!

You hafta read this interesting article from The History Channel to find out what they have to say about the whole dang mess.  Not sure I agree with all that is written about the actual history of it all, but we have no other records to go by.  American's were not good record-keepers back then, which is a true shame.  Now, we have toooooo many people keeping records (whether the info is true or not) and that's going to cause just as much trouble as no information or low information times past.  At least the people of a certain area knew what was happening for small distances around them, but they didn't know and didn't care what was happening hundreds of miles away because it didn't concern them directly.  People were not snoopy back then and we were all better off for it.

This is interesting reading, that's all I have to say.
