I remember when almost all lawns and grassy areas had clover sprinkled throughout.  We always thought of them as weeds but they are not.  They are actually helpful to yards and lawns, even today.

But people think lawns should be solid green, like a golf course.  What a weird and strange idea.  It's called "mind conditioning" from the grass seed companies.
