Just because we all HAVE these modern ways to communicate, doesn't mean they're good ways or that we should always be USING them.  For instance, who in their right mind would want alexa listening in on everything that's done in their personal, private households??  You'd be surprised how many people have simply NO CLUE about how some of these gadgets work and what they ACTUALLY do and are ABLE to do.  It's stunning that people will stupidly sign up for stuff they truly do not understand.
