Especially the younger generation who has never been through anything like the depression, where you learned quickly to be as self-sufficient as possible.  They've had it entirely too easy and that is the fault of their parents (who only thought they were making life better for their kids - - and they were - - too good).  No adversity in life produces wimps, there's no damned question about it.
