A variety of fall apple recipes

Some of these sound delicious, some sound just awful.

2nd thing: I would NEVER use oatmeal in Apple Crisp.  I use my mom's recipe (it's a really old one that I'm assuming she got from her mom) which is very simple and only takes about 4 ingredients plus the spices of your choice.  I use cinnamon (lots of it) and a dash or two of nutmeg and that's all, otherwise you take away from the apples, I think.

But, to each his own.

The acorn squash with apples and raisins or dried cranberries is delicious, we've done that one for years also.  It's the only way I can get my finicky husband to eat acorn squash!  I use baking raisins rather than dried cranberries.  Baking raisins are soft from the get-go and Sunmaid Raisins makes them in little foil bags.  Hope they're still available because it seems everything I need these days is not being used/made anymore.  Just wait - - pretty soon the women's libbers along with the BLM movement idiots will be asking to take the sunmaid girl off the packing  - -  I can already see it coming, can't you?

Re: A variety of fall apple recipes

More apple recipes for fall.  This time from The Old Farmers Almanac of 2020.

Some of these sound good, some didn't appeal to me at all.  Fun to go through recipes though!
