God almighty is she a stooge.  Sending in federal agents is the best help she's gonna get, so she better damned well take it while it's offered.

BUT - - she said this:

"The mayor said she wrote a letter to Trump last week about other ways the federal government can help besides sending in federal agents. One area that can be beneficial is gun control, she said."The fact of the matter is our gun problem is related to the fact that we have too many illegal guns on our street," Lightfoot said, adding, "We are being inundated with guns from states that have virtually no gun control, no background checks, no ban on assault weapons."

No, Sweetie - the fact of the matter is that the "bad guys" are ALWAYS going to have guns whether Lightfoot likes it or not.  You can put a ban on everything, but if people want something, they'll get it one way or another.  Does she not have even ONE functioning, working brain cell in that head of hers???? 

This has been the problem for decades - - you can put controls on drugs and guns and any number of things "you don't like" but that does NOT stop them from being available.  If it did, America wouldn't be in the mess it's in with the drug situation.  Lord above could she start using her head and come up with something more ingenious for once?
