A tale of old and new

The tale in the story is quaint, the part about John Deere made me gag.  My Dad refused to buy anything made by John Deere (we did not "farm", i.e., dig up the soil and plant stuff, but we did harvest naturally growing haygrass a couple of times a year, weather permitting, and we always used the sickle or scythe attachment to keep fields cleared closer to the ground, especially near the house).  It helped with overgrowth of weeds and other tall grasses not suitable for our cattle to eat.

This is very different and a complete change from all the rioting crap we are blasted with 24 hours every day, 7 days a week.

Take this little break from it all and read something very different.
