Americans aren't racist; activists are

We saw racial preference for a long time in this country, whether it was intended to be that way or not.  But the American citizens "fixed" that a long time ago.  Big steps have been taken in the past 50 years, for certain. Yes, it probably should have happened sooner but those of us who are now making the social rules and trying to improve things just weren't around back then and points were much harder to make to a population who didn't understand - - and some of them didn't want to understand, that's true. 

We need to get over all this racism crap, because now it means something far different than it used to.  It actually USED to be about race.  It no longer seems to be about race, it's more a political fight than anything else, as far as I can tell.
