Longest blooming perennials

I've seen these in local greenhouses in years past, but never knew what they were called.  I had to read more than hI alfway through this article to find the name!  They looked familiar but I couldn't place them at all.  They sorta look like echinacea (which grows wild on the hillside right behind my sister's home not far from where I live now) and even though she's not with us anymore, we often drive by the place just to see if the flowers are still there.  They are!  For now . . .

I much prefer the pink ones to the orange (not a big fan of orange colored flowers or anything else) but they're all pretty.
