It's fine by me, I love winter.  Let's just say, I much prefer the cold to the heat, always have.  Yesteday (Sunday April 19, 2020) we woke up to heavy snow with HUGE flakes, which continued until about noon - for a total of about 2 inches on our back deck.  My DH and I went to the health food store about 2 p.m., and by then all the snow was gone.  The temp had gone from 28 degrees when I got up at 7 a.m., to mid-50's by 2 p.m.  Amazing what those changes will do to a house where expansion, etc., is concerned.  Today we have high wind warnings and the temp is now 58 degrees at 11:45 a.m.  Talk about a contrast!  But that's why we love it here, never know what to expect from day to day, even hour to hour.  We like it!
