Cabbage is very very good for you, especially if you buy organic or grow your own so you know exactly what you're getting.
Here's a list of really good recipes (I make the butter and cabbage only version a lot, all I add is pepper and salt). My DH hates cooked cabbage (he loves coleslaw though) so I have a hard time making anything out of it because it does have a rather pungent odor.
