It should definitely be a punishable offense.  They are aiding and abetting CRIMINALS, no matter what else you want to call these "immigrants", they are first and foremost criminals.  Those migrants are breaking the law by breaking into our country.  If they don't/can't get in legally through the border patrol crossing areas, they are backtracking and coming across in at the weak spots along the border (and yes, you KNOW those weak spots are there, any idiot knows it).  I'll never for one minute believe that the drug smuggling gangs like the Sinaloa cartel, et al., are coming in at the legal border crossing areas.  How damned dumb to people have to be to believe that??
