These sound fantastic.
There are other ideas there, as well. Reading through all the stuff that came up on my screen when I typed in "maraschino cherry desserts I can make" it was astounding, and brought back memories from years and years ago. Ham with pineapple and cherries - - anyone remember that from the 1950's? I remember having it at my aunt and uncle's house when we were visiting in California when I was about 5 years old. Those people are all gone now, of course, but it doesn't stop me from remembering the great foods at our get-togethers.

I love to make sheet cakes! They go so much farther than a regular 9 x 13 cake and I've got tons of grandkids and their friends to feed when we get together. With Thanksgiving being the next "get together meal" for us, I will likely be leaning towards pumpkin or apple recipes but I do love a good chocolate cake and adding cherry to it just makes it even better!
