These are always favorites at any gathering.  Birthdays, holiday dinners, etc.  We love them with our 4th of July picnics in my family.

This recipe is almost exactly like the one my Mom used to make, except hers always had cracks all across the top of the cookie and the sugar coating would fall inside those cracks.  YUM!!!  Try them, you will agree with me.
