It's as bad as the push for everyone to be diabetic, now the drug companies want everyone to have dry eyes (in my case it's called Sjogren's Syndrome). But I was diagnosed by an md not a fake quacky doctor that seem to be springing up everywhere these days. There are constant advertisements for weight loss drugs, eye treatments, diabetes treatment and medicare advantage hawkers. The only "advantage" is to medicare, certainly not to the people who are foolish enough to sign up for it. I only have parts A & B which I've had since I was 65 and I don't intend to expand it in any way because I can't use parts c or d anyway. The phone calls are non-stop throughout the day. I just don't answer my phone anymore and if it's someone I think I know, and it turns out to be someone hawking something, I hang up. PERIOD.
