Can you tell we're getting closer to fall now?  I have stockpiled oodles of soup recipes because they are so easy and most don't requite long cooking times.  I'm not actually looking foward to winter but I AM looking forward to fall and the cooler days, except in the fall EVERYTHING is Pumpkin this and Pumpkin that and I'm actually sick of pumpkin flavored stuff to be honest.  The only kind of pumpkin pie filling I will use is Festal and it's not always available although my youngest son found it easily in a grocery store up in Sturgis, SD where he lives.  They just got through with the Sturgis motorcycle rally for the year (although there are still cycles buzzing all over the place night and day) and he is relieved some of them have left town!  Me too except now they've all come here.....
