I am placing this here because these things always come in the form of an E-book and on my computer I do not know how to open e-books. I download them and then I can never find them again!! I'm just not very computer savvy and they never offer you 2 choices to do this, so I copied and pasted the link from the article. Some of these recipes sound like they have great ingredients.
I am also searching but not finding a recipe for "nutloaf". It's a vegetarian version of meatloaf. I used to go with a guy who was from a 7th Day Adventist family and they do not eat meat (although HE did !!!). He and I used to go to the local drive-in food place in my hometown where they had the BEST hamburgers and pizza burgers (which I also cannot find a recipe for). That drive in is long gone now and with it went their recipe for pizza burgers.
Soooooooooo, if anyone can help out with recipes, sign up for an account here (no money involved at all) and post your ideas. Also if you know of a good recipe for nutloaf, I'd appreciate that, too. The pizza burgers I grew up with were called DeMac burgers and I have tried to no avail to find them (or a recipe) online. Those 2 recipes I'm looking for are very much healthfood oriented. Especially so if you use organic ingredients as much as possible!

Classic Nutloaf recipe - my old boyfriend Paul's mother used to make this and it was delicious but of course I don't have her recipe and it's a bit late to ask for it now, some 50 years later! I don't think her's had cheese in it though because they also didn't eat/drink dairy of any kind which was really a shame. When Paul came to town for our dates, often we would go to the local hang-out (drive in/diner place) and have cheeseburgers - he loved them.
Even if you're skeptical give it a try. It's truly delicious especially with mashed potatoes and a nice vegetable side dish like green beans or garden-fresh peas. I hate canned peas, yuk. Frozen peas and carrots would also be a good choice. I would have to cut this recipe in half at least because that would make far too much food for me.
I made this a couple of times a few years ago but I cannot find my handwritten recipe for it. I know I used walnuts, cashews and pecans mixed together and I used my old-fashioned hand chopper gizmo to get them to the right texture. I did NOT, however, bake them in the oven first I just am not going to run my oven that long at today's prices for natural gas. It's stunning what my monthly bill is since the biden/harris car crash in 2019.
I couldn't copy just the link so I had to C&P the recipe below: I'm sorry it comes out so messy but I could not clean it up, I haven't figured out that part of this forum yet. I'm sure there's probably a way to do it, I just don't know what it is! I have no IDEA why there's "a, b, c" included in this recipe. I did NOT add those letters, just so you know.
