OMG - - this is so crazy.  WHY DO TEACHERS SEEM TO THINK STUDENTS CAN'T FUNCTION IN SCHOOLS WITHOUT A CELL PHONE??????????

I don't get it.  I went through 12 years of school and 4+ years of college without a phone in my purse or my pocket.  If we wanted to make a call we went to the superintendent's office and asked to use the finger dial phone.  I will just never understand this reliance on cell phones ANYWHERE, much less in schools.   No wonder the kids aren't learning a damned thing, between computers and cell phones - - that's not an education, that's an electronic babysitter.  TEACHERS ARE FUCKING LAZY THESE DAYS.  They have BEEN lazy for the past 20 years.  AND they are now (all over the country it seems) having SEXUAL AFFAIRS with their students.  WTH?????  Talk about an education!  I would never put a kid in a public school these days.  I would either homeschool them myself or find someone who COULD home school them without the use of computers and hand held phones.
