I used to love to ride my bike but since my stroke I just don't have the balance for that anymore. Now I walk all around the neighborhood (whereever I feel safe, that is) and I use my walking stick. I like to be out in the sunshine, although it's been raining or storming here every day as of late. Yesterday it was 106 degrees when I took my grandson to the local pool and it was even hotter by the water! We should have gone fishing at Canyon Lake which is what I wanted to do and just hang my feet over the edge of the rock walls into the rushing water.
It is especially helpful for the sun exposure and for the health of our bones and it beats an Rx prescription which claims to help with "bone loss" (what a crock). The last thing most people need is more poison pills to take.
Take 5,000 IU Vit D3 daily (Healthy Origins) along with 50 mcg Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7) from Solaray. They work together for good stuff.
