Unintended consequences

People are convinced that "some damage" is bound to occur along with medical treatments.  WHAT???

Why should we settle for such ignorant explanations?  We are NOT supposed to blindly accept collateral damage or unintended consequences as a "good excuse" for people who've died.  I'll bet if they thought they could get away with it, doctors et al would list collateral damage on death certificates.  It's gotten totally out of hand.

And there are other excuses used by the medical industry, too.  None of them are good; no *excuse* ever is good.
