Aretha Franklin - Freeway of Love

This is one of my favorite Aretha songs.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip_pjb5_fgA  There were many favorites, but this one (also called Pink Cadillac by many people) was always her best hip-hop sort, IMO.

My other all-time favorite from her was "Who's Zooming Who".  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2NXv9RL1i8

She passed away today at age 76.  FOX news (with Bill Hemmer) did a one hour tribute to her and spoke with many of her associates and friends.  It was great to watch, but I'm sad that she is gone.  She had great feeling for music - all kinds of music - and she was not ostentacious like so many hollywooders are today.  I'm glad she was popular from the 60's right through the 80's.

From her bio: "Later that year, she was also selected to sing the national anthem to begin the Democratic National Convention in Chicago."  Imagine that - - democrats who once honored the national anthem.

One of her many online bio's:  https://www.biography.com/people/aretha-franklin-9301157

Do you think it's coincidence that she died on the same day as Elvis?
