This stuff must be carried by wind drift, to some point, because a neighbor about 4 blocks away has some growing in her yard, and last year it started coming up along the outside of our chain-link fence.  It's beautiful and it sure is easy to maintain cuz I didn't do a thing to it at all!  I didn't even water it and we have had two pretty dry summers.  We've had rain from time to time, but we're still in drought conditions in this area and particularly so right now.  WE NEED SNOW!
