A bunch of really good potato recipes

Hey guys, don't let the "food gurus" scare you away from potatoes. They are very good for you, despite their bad reputation. I rarely substitute sweet potatoes for real, red potatoes because the recipes turn out supremely different, and usually that's not what I'm going for. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/thepolkadotapron/forum_data/forums.th/thep/thepolkadotapron/smilies/20.gif

Besides, there are a gazillion ways to use sweet potatoes and I want to concentrate here on regular red or even white (baking) potatoes. I prefer the red organic for mashed, scalloped, homemade hash browns and soups, and I prefer the whites for baking only. I cannot stand "golden" or "butter" potatoes. Yuk. They taste sugary not buttery, and again, that's not what I'm going for.

Check some of these embedded links, too.
