Wanna see something unusual?

Not unusual for me (or the area in which I live!) but unusual for someone from a place where they don't get cold winter weather!

This is from the blizzard and ice storm we had in March of 1966. It was something, for sure. The entire states of ND and SD were affected by this one storm and power lines and telephone lines were down for weeks.

This is a cow, a bull and a yearling (kinda behind the bull) traipsing up West Blvd in the town where I live, which is now the Historic homes section.  They think several head of cattle broke loose from the train (it goes right through the center of town, still does) because they were hungry and thirsty.  Cows will stand in snow up to their noses and thirst to death because they do not know they can take snow into their mouths and it will melt.  They're kinda sorta dumb that way.  Poor critters.  I've been around cattle all my life.
