For your yard.  When we talk about our homes, we aren't only talking about the inside of our homes!

My parents had 4 of these in their huge yard, and they were nice, big, upright-growing trees which each got to be at leasts 40 feet tall.  They only had to be maintained (by professional trimmers) about every 5 years.  They were gorgeous shade trees, and the squirrels and chipmunks helped get rid of the "cones" so that was never a problem. 

They'd be great for any yard with enough room for them, as they get quite wide, too.
