Better nutrition promotes recovery?

Well no kidding?  You'd have to be a complete idiot not to know or understand this concept, but I'll tell you from personal experience that our doctors, nurses, PA's and whoever else, have no clue.

The last thing I would do is take nutritional advice from a doctor or anyone else in the phrma funded/phrma trained industry.  They don't understand the first thing about real nutrition.  If you want your hospitalized relative, friend, etc., to have proper nutritious foods, you must take it to them yourselves, do not depend on the hospital to provide it.

***We had a discussion a year or so ago at my other forum, about what was actually contained in those hospital "nutrition IV's" and it was just plain scary.  I can't seem to locate a link that I had for it and doing a web search turned up nothing (because they don't want us to know what's in those IV's but it's nothing good, I'll venture).  If anyone could provide a link to this information, I'd be grateful.  Thanks.
