First of all, her parents came to America seeking much more than "medical care" because, truth be known, she would have received better care in Mexico.  There are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo many alternative care clinics in Mexico (where a lot of smart americans go when they wish to avoid the clawing, money-hungry, non-helpful system here).  I could give her the names of several places in Mexico where this would never have been an issue at all because she would have been where she belonged.  Evidently her parents are brainwashed by listening to American propaganda crap about how much better our system is - - what a bunch of bullshit.  Our system does a lot of killing for one that claims to know so much.

There's a lot more to this story than what you see in this article, I'd bet on that.
