Let's all help save the PRAIRIES

Every State has a few prairies, some States more than others.  But these prairie lands are dwindling fast because of encroachment by man and his constant craziness for building stuff we really don't need.  Do we REALLY need another walmart? Do we REALLY need another walgreen's??

Uh, no.  We sure don't.  Two rogue enterprises if ever there were any.  They sell JUNK.  Who in the world thought that was a good idea????

Humans need food, water and clean air - and maybe a bike for travel as well as exercise.  Well, we might need to keep warm and/or cool, but beyond that we don't NEED anything.  But we WANT everything.

Without land and grassy prairies and clean streams, we won't have any of it.  So do your part by helping just one bee.  If you think you can't build this little treasure yourself, find a friend who is handy and wants to do it for you, hire someone to do it, or maybe gather the items you'd need to build it and give it a try on your own.  SOMEONE will help you with it because older people are always looking for projects.  Check out your nearest Senior Citizens Center and I'll bet you'd find someone at least willing to try.

There are actually several different ideas to use for a bumblebee house - some of them very simple (like finding an old teapot!).  We all could certainly do that much.

And YOU will be contributing something to the preservation of the wild and beautiful prairies all over the USA - for now.  But we have to save them.  Only those willing to help will make a difference.

Read this great, short article.  And then go for it!
