This is pretty cool.  I keep saying that the larger towns should still have horse mounted divisions so they can go places where an automobile cannot go when chasing criminals.  They have other uses, too, as people would soon discover.  Good ideas rarely take root these days, however, because they are considered quaint and out-of-date.  What balderdash.   We need more people like this guy and more cops who'd be willing to do it.
