Trivial pursuit

America is a republic, not a democracy - although they are often confused, thus it is said that either term is correct. That may be true in some senses, but I really wish the USA was a democracy.  We would have only rulings voted on by the entire nation of people, not by the CONgressional respresentatives who have made a living off of lobbyists and turned an entire country into a garage sale.  That's the very first thing people need to get straight.

Our nation is paying attention to trivial crap rather than taking care of the most important business since the war of 1775 & the war of 1812.
