There are some interesting things happening today and all the rest of the month.  This article also provides a nice diagram of the different phases of the moon.  My Dad was a "moon guy".  He taught us all, as children, to always check out the moon and see what was happening.  I still do that to this day.  I generally look right out my front door to see what's happening in the southern sky, and on my back deck to see what's happening in the northern night sky.  The moon is a beautiful thing in all it's phases so don't waste tonight !!
